Hopes

“Hanging Your Hopes” is my first piece ever to be exhibited in New York City, February 1-28, 1986 in the Clocktower Gallery, 108 Leonard Street.

Most appropriate since, for the artist, NYC is the “Hope Capital.”

You hang your hopes on the wall and hope for fame? glory? money? What is the hope? Does hope really have anything to do with it?

We hang a small fragile part of ourselves and wait….
